Sparkling moments in sterling silver

Who doesn’t want a little Christmas magic with sparkle and glitter?  A fairytale atmosphere and romance?  Flickering candlelight reflected in our real silver candlesticks? No fairy lights can do that.

The first evidence of a candlestick was found during excavations in Greece in papyrus letters, probably dating from the 2nd to 3rd century AD. In ancient Rome, bronze candlesticks, a very expensive material at the time, were considered a status symbol for wealthy citizens. Candlesticks were forged from iron in the Middle Ages; a famous example from 1250 shows the heroic Samson defeating a lion with his bare hands, on display in the Berlin State Museums.

Today we are not in the MÖHRLE SILVER GERMANY manufactory, but at home, presenting our Christmas decorations. The staircase shines fabulously in the light of various silver candlesticks and puts us in a festive mood.
