Möhrle Silver Germany
Family tradition since 1895
Luxury – Upgrade
“Home! Sweet home!” (Henry Rowley Bishop, 1823)
A small word with a big meaning: our home is the place where we spend most of our lives. And who wouldn’t want to have a really beautiful home, designed with selected home accessories? Made from fine materials, of the highest quality and absolute durability? Luxurious, but without pomp and excess?
1895 – 2025
In 1895, our great-grandfather Gottlieb Kurz began drawing patterns for our unique real silver items with a great passion for style and aesthetics. Early on, he decided to produce only high-quality 925 sterling silver instead of silver-plated goods covered only with a thin layer of silver and created a collection of fine silverware that was quickly in demand in Germany, Europe and overseas.
Love at first sight
Finally here! A miracle and the most beautiful thing in the world for all parents. Soon we will see his first smile and be enchanted again and again. And soon your baby will try to grasp and explore objects. It discovers that you can put anything in your mouth, so it’s a good thing that our exclusive baby and children’s gifts are made of 925 Sterling silver, pleasantly cool and antibacterial.
Spring awakening
The fleeting beauty of nature in spring fades and you are certainly already looking forward to next year. The joy of our real silver cutlery, which will soon also be available in top quality silver-plated cutlery, remains, durable, solid and forever.
MÖHRLE SILBER GERMANY manufactures exceptionally fine, classic or modern silver cutlery for you, luxury for every day. Our cutlery made of 925 Sterling silver, and soon also silver-plated, conveys timeless elegance, is designed with attention to detail and manufactured using the best materials. Our manufactory meets the highest standards and all unique pieces are subject to permanent vertical quality control.
Cool, trendy and yet classic
Our timeless classics made from 925 sterling silver are also popular with Generation Z. Digital natives value environmental protection and sustainability, in line with our production from 100% recycled silver. And they value authenticity in brands and companies; like us, they prefer direct and open communication, honesty and trust. Fundamental values in a family business like MÖHRLE SILBER GERMANY.
Highest quality you can touch
Paris, Belle Epoque, Moulin Rouge – the iconic, authentic posters by Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec provide a unique insight into the world of Parisian cabarets and clubs at the end of the 19th century.
Aristide Bruant, star of the Montmarte, shown in a black velvet jacket, with a long red scarf and a simple wooden cane in the original, would certainly have been delighted with a silver cane from MÖHRLE SILBER GERMANY!
“October is the treasure of the year.”
Gold and silver have inspired the thoughts and desires of mankind for over 7,000 years. Cuneiform texts prove that silver ingots or hacked silver were used as a medium of exchange in Mesopotamia before the emergence of silver coins.
Wiesn or Wasen
Whether Munich Oktoberfest or Stuttgart Volksfest, gingerbread hearts are the classic par excellence.
Decorated with colored icing on the edges and a nice or funny saying in the middle, they are symbols of affection and friendship. Gingerbread hearts are edible reminders of a special day, unfortunately only for a short time.
MÖHRLE SILBER GERMANY immortalizes your memories of special days and occasions in hearts made of 925 Sterling silver.
A matter of the heart
Harmonious shape, known all over the world – and with an interesting history. The heart shape, not just for Valentine’s Day.
In ancient Greece, ivy leaves were regarded as a symbol of everlasting love, evergreen and enduring. Bridal couples wore a sprig of ivy at their wedding as an attribute of eternal fidelity.
Noblesse oblige
The German aristocratic journal has been published monthly since 1883, interrupted only by the Second World War. Interesting texts on traditions, world view and philosophy of life as well as exciting historical contexts, current events and portraits of well-known personalities, diverse and absolutely worth reading.
Articles on social, family and idealistic values and sections on cultivated lifestyle show the affinity for quality, aesthetics and consistency.
We have been advertising in the German Adelsblatt for some time now and are delighted with the great interest in our fine, unique sterling silver pieces.
Craftsmanship meets good humor
Happy is the man who can call a real silver cup his own. Crown Prince Albert Edward, known as “Bertie”, had his Prince of Wales cocktail served exclusively in a silver cup. Bartenders on luxury liners and in international hotels still prefer real silver today, as a silver cup immediately takes on the temperature of the drink. Perfect for all cocktails. Fans of the trendy mint julep enjoy their drink of bourbon whiskey, sugar syrup and mint in style in a pre-iced silver cup.
It’s Swingtime
On our tour of our MÖHRLE SILVER GERMANY manufactory, Franziska shows with this funny slapstick in front of all kinds of tools that a silver cane from our collection is always chic and by no means old-fashioned.
They captured the hearts of all movie fans with their walking stick. Charlie Chaplin’s most famous accessory was auctioned off in Los Angeles together with his black bowler hat for 62,500 dollars. Chaplin’s initials and those of his film character Little Tramp – “LT” – are engraved on the walking stick. Fred Astaire achieved a meteoric rise to fame with the walking stick.
Treasures in the cellar
This is the cellar of our manufactory. MÖHRLE SILBER GERMANY, matching our handmade real silver Bedroom candle holder, which Victoria is holding in her hand. The photo inspired us to tell a little story: “Once upon a time there was a fairy who lived in a house full of beautiful things made of real silver.
“And there is magic in every beginning”
The fundamentally optimistic tone of Hermann Hesse’s words fits perfectly with the company foundation of MÖHRLE SILBER GERMANY in 1895 and our blog relaunch today. Our company history embodies the established structures of a genuine family business: we think in terms of generations, not quarters, can respond quickly and flexibly to our customers’ individual wishes
Elegant accessory for wind and weather
We take you on a tour of our factory! May we introduce you? This is our pressing room, where one of the most important steps in the production of our silverware takes place: After cutting out the silver plate, the desired pattern is stamped into the silver blank with a force weighing several tons.
After many more steps of pure craftsmanship, a silver handle is created, as shown here, making an umbrella much more than just a simple helper in bad weather. Our employee Ercan carries a large and sturdy umbrella with a 925 sterling silver round hook handle, the fabric in the finest Italian design is supplied by Francesco Maglia Milano, Ombrelliartigianali dal 1854. Wouldn’t you rather have a stylish companion than an industrially manufactured mass product?
