Of course, she has learned the different types of bowing, a very special one is “martelé”, the immediate onset of the bowing movement with full bow pressure creates a percussive tone beginning, which sounds like “hammered” according to the French translation.
Unique in texture and shine: Martelé is a technical term in silversmithing for the precisely executed hammering technique. Each unique piece in our manufactory is elaborately handcrafted by experienced silversmiths with great attention to detail The silver shine appears sometimes soft, sometimes intense. The hammer finish effectively structures the surface of the silver, creating hundreds of light reflections, always protected from scratches and always unique.
